Last weekend, three ANTM fans were arrested and six injured when a scuffle broke out among the women waiting to audition for America’s Next Top Model.
Apparently the kerfluffle went down when women who had slept in line overnight discovered other women were cutting in front of them, and began pushing and shoving each other. The situation only got worse when an overheating Mercedes-Benz pulled up nearby, prompting some ANTM-hopefuls to scream, “Bomb!”
Check out video of the so-called “riot”:
Needless to say, the auditions were shut down, and all the New York hopefuls sent home disappointed. Now Tyra Banks, the show’s host and executive producer, says she will do all she can to ensure the girls who couldn’t audition are given a fair shot. In a statement issued Monday, Banks said,
To all the ‘Top Model’ hopefuls who were affected by the New York casting, we are doing everything we can to make sure that ALL the girls who weren’t seen get an opportunity to audition — we’ll update you on our plans very soon.
“Oh So Fabulous!!”
